TT_Mod_Pack®

We have been having an absolute BLAST playing team scrum on some new Mods. All you need is to pre-download the terrain files, and you won't have to wait at all to join the game!

I have consolidated many of the Mod terrain files into convenient folders for you. I will continue to keep this updated.

This contains all the classic mods (MonkeeMods, CrapBlasterMods, dashMods, RacerMods, TrivoxMods, RoosterMods, NapalmMods, KillinBrainCellMods & ScytheManMods). The folder is now static. If you have downloaded this since 4/18/06 you do not need to get it again.

Get just the recent mods since 5/1/06 here in a smaller pack (3 MB).

Instructions for Installing the Mod_Pack®

  1. Download the above.zip file to your desktop and unzip. You will have a folder of terrain files (that end in.ter).
  2. Locate the ThinkTanks® application on your computer.
  3. Control click on the ThinkTanks® application icon.
  4. Select "Show Package Contents" from the menu.
  5. Navigate through the folders until you find the "Missions" folder. Folder path is Contents/Resources/game/data/missions
  6. Copy all the provided.ter files (e.g. MM_Lush01.ter, MM_Lush02.ter, etc) directly into the "Missions" folder. (In this folder you will also see files such as TT1_1.ter and TT1_2.ter. These are the original terrain files that came with the game. Do not delete or replace these files)
  7. If ThinkTanks® is already open then quit and restart it.

MonkeeMod Map Pack for PsychoScrum Season 8 has been released! 12/29/04.
Contains the mission and terrain files for 12 League approved maps!

PsychoScrum 9 Map Pack for PSL Season 9 has been released! 8/27/05.
In order to get into these maps you will also need to install the TT_Expansion Pack.

TT Expansion Pack (Version 4) Updated 3/11/06

Napalm has collected all kinds of extra textures and objects that can be used to create new Mods using the Torque Game Engine. What Napalm did was organize these extras into an organized set of folders, so that we can have a standardized set of data files. If you are a player (and not a modder) but enjoy exploring new Mods - especially ones with non-standard features - you should take the time to install the Expansion_Pack. Unlike the TT_Mod_Pack® (where you need to come back often to get updates) this is a one-time (but large) download and installation that will equip you with these data files so you don't have to wait for them to download.
